Mothers Day Photographs

In lieu of mothers day being just around the corner I have decided to offer a special at the studio. I know you all want pictures of your kids, but how many pictures do you have of you with the kids? Are the grandparents asking when you'll take the kids to the photo studio next? !! Well, now's the chance. I am doing super mini sessions in the studio. For $15 you will get 20 minutes of time and 3-5 proofs to chose from. And...I will also give you a complimentary 5x7 image from the session. I am only doing this on Saturday April 14th. You need to book your time slot, I will be booking every half hour. First come first serve. Hours of operation 9:30 - 4. If you're interested or want some more information please email me at photography@louisalarson.com. And because I feel I have to throw in a photograph with everything I write - this is my favorite mother/daughter picture of all time. Awwwww, isn't that sweet?

Here are some more fun older images

Hope you don't mind me posting, lady! I couldn't resist. This is one of my favorites. I don't get to do a lot of "grown-up" shots but it's so much fun when I do get the chance. What you can't see below the picture is her very round about to have a baby belly!

You gotta love the basket shots! Taking pictures at 6 - 9 months is one of the best times. They are alert, they love to look at you if you make a sound, they can sit up but they don't move! This little guy has been my poster child, almost every shot with him was so nice because he loved being in front of the camera - I'm not kidding! With his deep dark eyes he sure to be a very handsome young man, don't you think?

This little cutie pie came in for her one year birthday shoot. She was such a ham. We dressed her in a lovely pink tutu as well, she just thought she was the bees-knees in that little get up! She was just learning to walk so I was able to capture some great first steps shots. I love this age. We also photographed her eating a birthday cake, but I'd have to say she just wasn't too fond of getting her hands all sticky!

Thanks for Visiting!

Hello Everyone.
Thanks for visiting my blog! I'm just now up and running. I am going to be using this platform to communicate with people about what happening at my studio as well as sharing images from recent sessions. Since I am just starting I thought I'd show some sessions that I had a while ago. It has been fun for me as I go through these older sessions, to see people I haven't seen in some time as well as to see some changes in others that I see on a regular basis.

I know he's not even looking but this image really speaks to me. This little boy is full of energy, at two years old we would expect nothing less! As soon as he walked into my house he saw this spatula. He didn't want to part with it for anything! Luckily for me, his mom didn't mind at all. It's all part of who he is and what he likes as a two year old.

As you can tell, this was a great session. I actually photographed not only this family but three families with the grandparents. It was so much fun to capture three generations all together. This family is full of fun and vitality, I would love to photograph them ANY time!

We had a lot of fun during this session. This little four year old is full of energy! We went through many different clothing changes including a fairy princess. The images I got with her and her mom are some of my favorite ever. They are on my website, I couldn't resist.

Aren't these little girls gorgeous? We had so much fun doing a family session just prior to Christmas. They were so well behaved and sweet the entire session! There's no way I could go wrong with faces like these!
